These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern all transactions between you (“the Customer”) and WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED (“the Company”), including the sale and purchase of luxury watches. By using our services, you agree to abide by these Terms.
2.1 Product Descriptions: We strive to provide accurate descriptions of all watches listed for sale. However, all products are sold on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that the descriptions are entirely accurate, complete, or error-free.
2.2 Condition of Watches: All pre-owned watches are subject to an inspection process. Any specific defects or signs of wear will be noted in the product description. You acknowledge that pre-owned watches may exhibit signs of previous wear and tear.
2.3 Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. Once you complete a purchase, the price is fixed and will not be affected by any future adjustments.
3.1 Valuation: If you wish to sell a watch to us, we will offer an estimated valuation based on the information and images you provide. This valuation may be subject to change after physical inspection of the watch.
3.2 Inspection and Verification: We reserve the right to inspect any watch received for up to 10 working days to verify its condition, authenticity, and working status. If the watch does not meet our standards or the details provided, we may reduce the offer or reject the purchase.
3.3 Payment: Once your watch passes our inspection and you accept our final offer, payment will be made via bank transfer within 7 business days. All offers are valid for 7 days from the date of the offer.
4.1 Shipping Policy: For all items sold or purchased, customers are responsible for ensuring the correct delivery details are provided. We offer a range of delivery options, including secure and insured shipping via Royal Mail or other courier services.
4.2 Royal Mail Deliveries: Once Royal Mail or any courier service marks an item as delivered, it is deemed delivered. In the event of a dispute, we will follow the respective courier’s claims process. Royal Mail claims can only be initiated 14 days after the stated delivery date. During this time, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement.
4.3 Shipping Costs: The cost of shipping will be outlined at the point of sale. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
5.1 Used Watches: We do not accept returns on used or pre-owned items. All sales are final unless the watch is proven to have a significant fault or defect not disclosed at the time of sale.
5.2 Faulty Goods: In the rare instance that an item is faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the watch, and return it within 7 days. Upon receipt of the item, we reserve the right to inspect the watch for up to 14 working days to verify the claim. If we determine that the item is faulty, we will offer a full refund or repair.
6.1 Payment to Beneficiaries: For certain transactions, payment may be required to be made to a designated beneficiary as detailed on the invoice provided. These beneficiaries are authorized by WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED to receive payments on our behalf.
6.2 Responsibility of Payment: You acknowledge that payment to any beneficiary listed on the invoice is considered full and final settlement of any amounts owed. The Company will not be liable for any misdirected payments if you fail to follow the instructions specified on the invoice.
7.1 Manufacturer Warranty: If the watch you purchase is still covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty, any warranty claims must be made directly with the manufacturer. WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED will not be responsible for handling warranty claims during the manufacturer’s warranty period.
7.2 Additional Warranty Coverage: For pre-owned watches that are no longer under the manufacturer’s warranty at the time of purchase, or if the manufacturer’s warranty expires during your ownership within the first 3 months of purchase, WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED offers an additional limited warranty. This warranty covers mechanical defects for up to 3 months from the date of purchase.
7.3 Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim with WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED, you must notify us within the warranty period. The watch must be returned to us at the customer’s expense for inspection by a third-party workshop. We reserve the right to inspect the watch for up to 10 working days to verify the claim.
7.4 Warranty Exclusions: The following are not covered under our limited warranty:
If the watch is found to have a defect that is covered by our warranty, we will offer a repair, or refund at our discretion.
WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED, including its partners, customers, agents, and any designated beneficiaries, shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising from the use, handling, transportation, or ownership of any product sold. This includes, but is not limited to, financial loss, personal injury, or loss of opportunity.
In the event of any claim, the total liability of WATCHES OF THE VALE1 LIMITED, its partners, customers, agents, and beneficiaries, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the product in question. No party associated with the transaction, including beneficiaries or agents acting on our behalf, will bear any further liability or responsibility.
This limitation applies to all claims, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time without notice. Any changes will apply to transactions made after the date of the update.
